How to Remove Windows 7 Boot selection

Hello, I have just installed Windows 7, I have initially to install it under D: but as it was appropriate to me I have to install it in the place of Vista (under C.
I thus have to format D: starting from “computer”, therefore I do not have it any more under D: but when Windows starts it remains in the very first page of boot selection
Then how to remove this options of boot selection?? Can anyone help me.
    Thank you in advance!!
I feel sad for people with good imagination.

Windows Vista/7 doesn't use boot.ini. You have to repair your boot sector so that it loads Windows 7's bootmgr instead of Windows XP's ntldr. I don't really know how to do that, though. It involves the Windows 7 DVD.

You will still need a boot.ini to load Vista, pluss all the root files. These may still exist on the non boot partition.

You might have to adjust the parameters to suit your own setup.

The normal boot files in Vista will also be
    Autoexec.bat
    Config.sys
    IO.sys
    Msdos.sys
    NtDetect.com

As I said, these may exist on the no boot partition.
If you have them, search and download, EasyBcd (Free) and install it in Windows 7. It has options to repair a dual boot.

Win7 comes with an editor for the boot records....you will need to use that BEFORE you remove the Win7 partition.

install EasyBCD. it has an option to change boot order or delete it. I used it to delete vista showing up in the boot sector after i discovered vista 64bit was crap and wouldn't work with my laptop sound.
