Error Message :Requested Registry Access Is Not Allowed

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue with my PC, When i am trying to use access my registry key i am getting the following error message as

• Requested Registry Access Is Not Allowed

Can anyone help me out with this issue.

Amd 9550
Gigabyte 780 with Intel Chipset
2gb ram
300 gb HDD
9600 gt 512

Sure i will help you out with this issue try to follow the below steps:-

1. Click on Start, and then click Run.
2. Type regedit.
   
3. Locate the following registry subkey:
   
   
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Application
   
   
4. Right-click the Application subkey, point to New, and then click Key.
   
5. Type TEST for the key name.
6. Close Registry Editor.
