Error Code : 0x80072ee2 in windows sp3

hello I have tried many times to download the adj. to sp3 but when I can not finish the procedure. navigation with a modem at 56 kb my g-data antivirus with firewall security set to normal. I found the kb page with regard to (836941)
I tried the solutions but I can not get it. I thought of downloading from the computer of a friend of the package for professionals, then upgrade from a disk do you think is a solution?
if you download the sp3 from windows update on another PC and then save the file (the one from 69 mb) on CD might work the same? and if it is downloaded once where the recovery (in which folder are temporarily saved the update files?)
