Vista 64 & Creative Sound Blaster live

Hi,
I'm using windows vista x64, having a problem while installing the drivers for Sound Blaster Live X64. When I try to install, I'm getting error "Creative driver install has crashed", and it doesn't install. model SB0466 .
Any help ?

Try via the Device Manager|SOUND CONTROLLERS|DRIVERS|UPDATE|SEARCH feature.

Also note that Creative reports that it will not be supported in Vista. The error message that you are seeing is one of several that I saw when attempting to use Recorder and other sound software that works fine in XP. Audio handling in Vista has changed, and companies will be adapting some products after Vista is released.

That is an X-FI Fatal1ty soundcard, with Vista 64 make sure you additionally install the Alchemy drivers.

The problem is, Creative doesn't have any real Vista support. So that could be your problem right there.
