    Windows 7 on Pentium III

Someone already tested it with Pentium III? Therefore use the XP on it, but as everyone is saying it is faster on Pentium III, I wonder if anyone has tested it, this type of computer. Since the Pentium III has 1 gig of memory DIMM 133 and processor 1 gig.

You can install that will run, depends also on the videocard is, if plate off, the better.

    Here is I have a P-III 850 Mhz, 768 Mb Ram and only 64 MB videocard .

Give only to know how the system, is slow, especially with anti-virus installed.

Thats a stupid question! Windows 7 won't Run on PIII

    Windows 7 Minimum Requirement :

    • 1GHz processor (32- or 64-bit)
    • 1GB of main memory
    • 16GB of available disk space
    • Support for DX9 graphics with 128MB of memory (for the Aero interface)
    • A DVD-R/W drive

Of course it works. I've just installed it on a Pentium III @1.4Ghz w/512MB of RAM and RADEON Video card w/128 Mb . Windows 7 works good with this configuration, it uses less than 360MB od RAM and I haven't noticed any reduction of performance. As I can't install more RAM on my mother board I'll try to upgrade my Video Card to a 512 MB Saphire and tell you how much Windows 7 Performance improves. (I can tell you it works good because I also installed it on a Athlon X2 machine and I can compare them).
