Cannot set option for show hidden files

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue with my PC.Whenever i try to go through Tools - -> Folder Option - -> View and then i select Show all files and folder and click on Apply and when i click on OK it again come back to Hidden file and folders only can anyone help me out with this issue i am really got tried with this.

I guess your Pc has got effect with a virus.Please have latest update of anti virus and have a virus scan of your PC.

Thanks for your reply i have try it but my PC doesn't have any Virus.Any other solution please.

I was also facing such kind of issue i tied to do the following this and it worked for me hope it will also worked for you.

1. Click on Start.
2. Type regedit in Run option.
3. Registry Window would get open and now browse to the following key.
   
   • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
4. In the right hand area, double click on hidden and change the value to 1.
   
5. Reboot your PC for changes to get effect.
