Wine, soft layer of Windows compatibility for the UNIX system, has just appeared in a new version.
WINE (acronym for Wine Is Not an Emulator) allows you to run some Windows applications under a system based on Unix (GNU / Linux and BSD), without however being obliged to emulate the system completely.
The new version, 1.1.15 stamped Notably:
- An update of the web rendering engine Gecko
- Better support regional GDIPlus
- Support for cross-compilation in winegcc
- Start the MS Support Framework Text
- Several fixes related to regression tests on Windows
- Bugfixes various
