    How to remove boot.vbs

    Hi friends,

    I am facing an issue with my System.I am not able to delete the boot.vbs file from my System.Can anyone suggest me any solution or direct me how to delete the file that would be great for me.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Following are my PC Configuration:-

    Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 Ghz
    G31 Asrock Motherboard with Intel chipset
    2gb RAM
    256 Nvidia Graphic Card
    200gb HDD

    Sure i will help you out with this issue before that may i know which operating System are you using it.

    PC Configuration

    Intel Dual core 2.66 Ghz
    915 MSI Motherboard with Intel Chipset
    2gb ram
    300 gb HDD

    I am using Windows XP SP2 and i have found that it's an virus but now able to remove it please help me out.

    Following are my PC Configuration:-

    Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 Ghz
    G31 Asrock Motherboard with Intel chipset
    2gb RAM
    256 Nvidia Graphic Card
    200gb HDD
    Edit/Delete Message

    I was also facing such kind of issue i tried to follow the below steps and it worked for me hope it will also work for you.

    1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del button and than go to taskbar.
    2. Goto Processes and End the following processes in order
      • dxdlg.exe
      • wscript.exe

    3. Now go to Start - - > Run - -> regedit –>
    4. Browse to the following key:
      • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

    5. On the right hand pane of it , select userinit and delete everything except C:\windows\system32\userinit.exe
    6. Make sure the processes wscript.exe and dxdlg.exe are not running.
    7. Now delete the following files also

      • C:\Windows\System32\dxdlg.exe
      • C:\Windows\System32\boot.vbs
      • In your Windows drive, search for boot.vbs and delete all of them.
      • In your Windows drive, search for kinza.exe and delete all of them.

    8. Now disable System Restore and then Enable it again.
    9. Reboot your computer once.

    Try to follow the below steps this also works:-

    1. Go to system partition C:\WINDOWS\system32 and find or search for wscript.exe.
    2. After finding the file delete it.
    3. If you aren't able to delete the file than download the following software for deleting it.
