since Picasa went from 2 to 3 I have found it to be unusable for editing, if I start to edit say redeye features in my albums it goes ok so far and then it freezes, ctrl/alt/del will not have any effect, the only way to come out of it is to hold the off button in until the computer shuts down, it will not shut down any other way, and by then all my edits are lost. If I cannot get a resolve to this I will remove the program from my pc, which is a sham because I used to find it very useful in the past

that txt (computer configs) sure is hard to read, you should do some kind of point form for parts, or an html table, what did you upgrade FROM? no change to the OS install?not sure if i have any ideas other than fiddling with the avivo settings in CCC, particularly deinterlacing, denoising, dynamic contrast, edge enhancement since you're viewing a direct mpeg2 (or whatever data) dvb stream right?

first, download the drivers, then try uninstalling the drivers and delete any left over files that it may leave. restart the computer in safe mode and install the drivers that you downloaded. restart once again and see if you get the same error.
