| Windows Vista : Show hidden files and folders option missing
I'm having windows vista ultimate version. From yesterday there is no no option for "Show Hidden Files and Folders" in the Folder Options dialog. Please help how can i make my hidden files visible? thanks  |

This happens if the system is infected by Virus or other Malware . Run a system scan with good antivirus. |

Open regedit.exe through the start menu search or run box, and then navigate down to the following key. Quote:
You should be able to immediately re-open the folder properties, and the option should have returned. |
