Error Message while installing supertux

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue with with my PC.Whenever i try to install Supertux on my System i am getting an error message as Checking for SDL Image Library failed.Can anyone help me out with this issue.I am using Ubuntu 8.0

When you get error messages like this it mean you have got an error because you don't have the '-devel' package installed

For that install 'libxml2' and 'libxml2-devel'

Thanks for your reply can you tell me where i can get the software for my pc and whats steps i need to follow after downloading it.

Sure i will help you with that first download the software by clicking on download.

Download

After downloading the software follow this steps:-

1. Double-clicking the file.
   
2. Now open a console window then type the following commands:
   
   su
   dpkg --install /tmp/supertux_0.1.3-1.1_i386.deb

It will work for you.
