How to install Fedora 11 Alpha over ubuntu 8.10 in a dual boot system?

Hi guys! i have a problem. I have a machine with Windows 7 Beta build 7000 and ubuntu 8.10. Now in this already dual boot system i want to remove ubuntu and install ferdora without corrupting the boot option for windows 7. Is such thing possible? can i install fedora 11 ober ubuntu without risking my windows 7 operating system? please help guys! i can't wait to get my hands on the fedora 11 alpha edition.

Start installation. There you can chose something like "delet Linux Partition". Thats it! Grub will be replaced by the Fedora bootlaoder. I am not sure if this works! As i haven't tried anything as such! Anyways All the Best! hope it works for you!

Yeah thats the correct method. Fedora 11 Alpha instead detects the previous Linux installtion automatically when you select the Install and Upgrade option on the first screen. Then select automatic configuration. Fedora will then format the previous linux partition and use it at for its installation. Now it will also ask you what operating system you want to be default. Nice option, I've kept windows Vista default as my brother too uses my computer! You can do similar stuffs! All the Best! Adios!
