| Find drive files in Puppy Linux
I am using a Puppy Linux CD to boot my desktop PC after Windows XP crashed, my intention was to retrieve data from my hard drive. but, I am notable to access my Windows "C "drive files through Puppy. I am able see the NTFS partition from GParted Partition Manager, but it doesn't seem able to read it. There is also no option that I can see to mount the drive. can any one tell me what to do now to get my data back ??please help me.thank you |

your windows xp crash then try to repir it that is most better option. If you have a Windows XP install disk, boot pc fromthe disk and enter "recovery console" and run chkdsk on the drive. If you have a Windows XP install disk and access to another XP machine you can use Bart's PE Builder to make a bootable CD that will allow you recover your data. |
