Find drive files in Puppy Linux

I am using a Puppy Linux CD to boot my desktop PC after Windows XP crashed, my intention was to retrieve data from my hard drive. but, I am notable to access my Windows "C "drive files through Puppy.

I am able see the NTFS partition from GParted Partition Manager, but it doesn't seem able to read it. There is also no option that I can see to mount the drive.

can any one tell me what to do now to get my data back ??please help me.thank you

your windows xp crash then try to repir it that is most better option.
If you have a Windows XP install disk, boot pc fromthe disk and enter "recovery console" and run chkdsk on the drive.
If you have a Windows XP install disk and access to another XP machine you can use Bart's PE Builder to make a bootable CD that will allow you recover your data.
