The default location for Virtual Machines under Virtual PC 2007 is My Documents. I don't want this. How can I change the default location that Virtual PC 2007 looks in to my specified location?

In Virtual PC, when you add a new virtual machine, or a new disc by Browse, Virtual PC for default My Documents\My Virtual Machines. It is quite possible to change the default location by creating a new environment variable.
- In Windows XP,
- Display system properties (Windows key + Pause)
- In the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
- Create a new environment variable named: MYVIRTUALMACHINES and assign it the desired value (eg d:\Virtual PC)
- Restart Virtual PC to accommodate the changes.
