Windows 7 Boot Menu Problem

hello,

I will try to be clear, despite my lack of vocabulary knowledge in computer .I installed window 7 on 2 pc.first one is a fujitsu siemens and it works well with 1GB of ram and XP Pro in dual boot. The 2nd pc under XP PRO in dual boot and partition 2, I had a crash, and now I want to remove the choice offered to me by turning on the PC. how to delete 'window 7' to boot.I try with 'msconfig' but I can not change this level, the system prevents me from doing so.

Re: Windows 7 Boot Menu Problem

Hello,

  • Start on the CD-ROM Windows XP
  • Let the wizard start the installation.
  • In the first screen, type R to select Repair and Recovery Console
  • In case of dual or multiple booting, select the installer for Windows XP
  • Enter the password for Administrator or, if no password has been set, press Enter
    Type fixmbr
  • Type exit to exit the console.
This should restore the boot "normal" on Windows XP only.
