    NVidia 260/280GTX on Windows 98SE?

    hi,
Since I do not really like faster systems such as XP and my Win 98SE still inspires the faithful believe,I wonder whether there is driver support for nVidia 260/280GTX. Slow times, I would like to renew the hardware (perhaps completely PC - but not BS). Would also like to once again play newer games. But I will not go into one of these new systems change. In my opinion, just a service pack for the good old Win98SE.

There are no drivers for Win9X modern graphics cards. Why should they? The operating system is designed for today's standards of pure filth. Some people have real problems. I can understand people who do not immediately switch to Vista, I can also understand the still like to continue to use Win 2K. But Win98SE?

Windows 2000, it should at least be. For Windows 2000 you can find the XP driver. But Windows 98 SE is absolutely not.

    hi,
I recently tried on my computer 2.-(S.939, 2GB RAM, 6800AGP) and again for fun Win98SE to run to.It is happening so that Win98SE no extra prefabricated, FAT32 partitions detected. Ne, Win98SE installed needs to be reliable, have its own partitioning. A selection has not, need 20GB range. Fdisk I will not start now. Continue by saying that 2GB of RAM when you install the DOS-based memory management totally overwhelmed. All onboard interfaces and devices should also be practicable in the BIOS off, otherwise, the latest installation in Plug and Pray detection devices. As I said, that thing is nothing more than an improved 3.11-Win moderate graphical essay for DOS! Yes, that is, at least for me as a freak, had a certain charm, which again to test. But after I after 2 days had failed, the system is reasonably clean with hardware.

Certainly still too colorful! MS DOS 6.22 is certainly the best for the TS! An 8gb system with Crossfire or SLI is perfectly safe.
How secure is Windows 98 on the Internet? There is certainly no pure security software running in the name of security and worth.
