Ubuntu 8.10 on asus p6t deluxe

I am planing to build new system. I would you like to know is Ubuntu 8.10 64 bit supports asus p6t deluxe or not

Motherbord : Asus P6T Deluxe
CPU: Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition 965 3.2GHz
Memory: DDR3 Corsair 4gb
Video: Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDR3
DVD: Sony SATA drive

I have a problem with Asus P6T deluxe motherboard .I am trying to install the 9.04 beta 64 bit server 1tb drives in RAID 5 with multiple partitions.
but while installing 9.04 beta server package, in final partition menu: "write changes to disk"/"help"/"go back" doesn't show the partitions and no any other options.i have observed that several people have such problem .

yes i have problem with asus p6t deluxe After setting up with logical volumes on top of RAID (1 for boot partitions; 5 for everything else), I cannot install GRUB successfully. The reason for using the 'Alternate' is because it has support for RAID and LVM, but most importantly, it will try installing LILO once GRUB install fails.
