Re: Vista 32 or 64 bit?

Most people know that the difference between 32/64-bit something to do with memory addresses, that's right. What many people do not know is that it is exactly how much data a computer can use. How much a computer can use is on the addresses. Addresses are formed by rows of bits.

In 32-bit is a row of 32 bits as address. This leads to 2 ^ 32 = 4294967295 addresses including many bits can have their own address. That is 4 GB That does not mean that you really can use 4 GB of RAM because there are a number of processes, such as video, which of those addresses. This remains something around about 3.25 GB.
At 64-bits are of course 64 bits used which leads to 2 ^ 64 = 18446744073709551616 addresses. There are many more and so your PC address book for the other processes and then there is enough left for the RAM memory which we 4GB or more memory to use.

The larger number of addresses will also ensure that you no longer get errors if you want to use several addresses. (Out of memory errors)

Re: Vista 32 or 64 bit?

This will be new to most of you, it also explains why Microsoft always says that 64-bit quicker.

There are 32 processors and 64-bit, all processors are 64-bit now but they are also backwards compatible which means that they are on 32-bit systems, which we found almost nothing of this transition.
    The difference lies in the number of bits it can process 1 time. compare it with a man I can in 1 glance that 4 * 9 = 36 in 49 * 34 I have pen and paper when needed and I have multiple steps, first 4 * 9 = 36 4 * 40 = 160 30 * 9 = 270 30 * 40 = 1200 and finally I must add that 4 results: 36 160 270 1200 = 1536. Thus, even a 32 bit system more steps to a large number of counting while a 64 bit system in 1 once.
So in large calculations is 64-bit faster but are small calculations they are equally fast.
But why do we need a 64-bit operating system needed? Well that is because the system uses the bits in 1 long flow indicates more pieces, a 32-bit operating system does it in pieces of 32 and a 64-bit is that pieces of 64. And as a 32 bit processor cores may not get in 1 time because he did not know what belongs together.

    Benefits 32-bit:
-All drivers / software are available

    Disadvantages 32-bit:
-You can save up about 3.25 GB Ram use
    -Out of memory errors

    Benefits 64-bit:
-You can use all your RAM
    None out of memory errors
    -5-10% Faster

    Disadvantage 64-bit:
-Is still not a 64-bit version of.
