To delete the unwanted folders & files

Hi,
I want to remove some unwanted files & folders from my computer but i am not able to delete the same can you tell me the best way how can i delete this unwanted files & folders?

Well what is the file extension can you tell us?
I know there are ways to delete un-deletable files & folders.
Can you tell me if you get any prompt or reason why you cant delete the file or folder?

Well the files & folders are from my download folder & i have downloaded them from Utorrent.
When I try to delete the file or folder i get a message that its being used by some program. (I think utorrent is using the files & folder)
Now how can i delete such folders & files?

Well then i must suggest you to stop the Utorrent application & then try to delete the files & folders if this wont work then try to delete the same files & folders using the Utorrent program.
There must be some way to stop the download activity in Utorrent application & then try to delete the files & folders.
