Windows Update Error Infinite Loop

I'm running Vista SP1, and Windows Update keeps trying to install some important Vista updates, but every time it tries, it fails and I get the following error message: "Updates were not configured correctly. Reverting changes". Then it reboots and goes through it all again and again and again!

Yes That Security Patch never works...I trying to connect internet..But internet also available...I wonder the way Microsoft release the Patch,,,,Even they never check such patches... Damm

I always use Open Source no more virus attacks....

Ya it happens when we updates with windows auto updates. Try to download the security patches and then install them manually. Try to download from here
