Vista Ultimate v/s Premium

Hello everyone,

I would like to know that which is the best operating system among Vista Ultimate and Premium. I'm planning to gift my wife a new laptop and i'm confuse between vista ultimate and premium. Can any one tell me according to you which is the best operating system between Vista Ultimate and Premium?

There is only one real difference between the two and that of having the wallpaper as a video file in ultimate as compare to premium. XP is much better, easy and more stable operating system, but in comparison vista looks much better than xp.

I think you should go for Windows Xp, otherwise you can also go for home premium. Ulitmate is expensive as compare to home premium. I think it's not worthful for going for ultimate as you will see your self paying more for nothing.

Comparing vista ultimate with premium, ultimate has the speed,is also user friendly,has backups capacity, media center, very fast start up / shut down, features for business and home and have 64 bit capability as compare to vista premium.


As compare to price value, vista ultimate price is more than vista premium is concern.
