| No sound after installing Windows Vista service pack 1
Hi all, I have upgraded to Windows vista Service Pack 1. After since installing it there is no sound is coming out from speakers. And speaker are alright because i have also tried my head phone. I don't know what to do now. can anybody help me please. I'm stuck here because of no sound. Thanks for any help.  |

The updates to system files and device drivers included in Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1 may affect the functionality of the Windows sound system. Some older audio drivers may not install properly after the service pack installation is complete. | Verify that a sound driver is installed
Without a sound driver, you will not hear sound. Make sure that a sound driver is installed. To do this, follow these steps:
If there is a speaker icon next to the sound driver, the driver is installed. If there is a yellow question mark next to the sound driver, the driver is not present or will not load. |
