Start Windows Vista in safe mode

Hi all,
Because of some reason (Actually i did some silly mistake) I want to start my windows Vista in safe mode. Actually i don't use PC's more so i don't know. can anybody tell me how to start my windows Vista in safe mode?

Start Windows Vista in safe mode

• With the F8 key
  
  
• When you start the computer press successively (interval of a second) the F8 key until you reach the advanced boot menu to select Safe Mode.
  
  
• You navigate the menu to the "Safe Mode" with arrow keys.
  
  
• Confirm with the enter key.

Note: On some computers, the F5 key to use.
