    Hard drive usage data

    Hi;

    Windows XP Home on a drive partitioned into C: System 30GB, D: Data 150GB, Z: Virtual Memory 6GB.

    C: properties shows 12.6GB used. Properties of the subfolders show a couple of hundred MB in various folders, plus Documents and Settings 2GB, Program Files 1.4GB, Windows 2.4GB.

    These only add up to about 6GB used. Why would the total be so much different from that of C: properties?
