Booting Problem In Windows NT

hi,
i have Intel 230 Single Core Atom (1x 1.6Ghz)
Gigabyte GA-GC230D(Atom) Single Core
Supports 45nm Intel Atom 230 Processor
Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (Intel GMA 950)
Integrated High Definition audio
Integrated SATA 3Gb/s interface.
After a week and a half started having random lock ups which eventually lead into lock ups during bios load. Finally wouldn't boot at all. Machine was still fully powered up lights fans hard drives video card etc. Tested the Video card on another machine was fine.
Help! What has happened and what is the solution?Can anyone help!!!

hi,
Replacing the battery sounds like a good place to start. I believe you could even try booting up without it. It won't damage anything, you'll just loose all you BIOS settings on the next shutdown or reboot.

Install Windows NT using Custom Setup and verify that the computer type is not identified as an MPS machine. If setup detects the system as an MPS machine, change the machine type to AT Compatible.
