    formatting xp

I made format on my computer, and forgot to back up files that I put in the Windows folder (important files that I protected (and not misplaced ideas when I please ...)) did do, I simply do formatting but I did not completely remove the partition (so I still have the old windows before formatting ), so is it possible to retrieve these files?

Hi when you say "Windows folder" you talk about C: / WINDOWS? Try with specialized software : http://www.pcinspector.de/Sites/file...htm?language=1

    Re: formatting xp

    After trying verdict:

it is this software, but not deleted files for non-deleted .... and my first record is not deleted ... Finally, I think ... it was made clear when formatting: "install an operating system partition mm in another few create conflicts" in a few words that's ready ... so it wants to say that I have two windows? So how can I do?

    thank you,

On the job, you do not see the partition in question?

Otherwise, start a CD of Linux, live and transfer your files from one partition to another.
