Dual boot XP + VISTA - before install

Hello all,

I am about to install Vista on a free partition of my PC currently under WinXP pro, to have a dual boot Vista / XP, then delete the end of XP.

It seems that we start the installation from the DVD for VISTA to choose the mode and the right partition (vacant and a new SATA disk in my case).

1. After installation of VISTA, I have access to dual boot, ie things and then I started the OS

1) Yes, you will have the dual boot. If this is not the case, Vistaboot Pro (free) allows (EasyBCD or otherwise).
2) It will be on C: (XP) because that is where is your first disc in the BIOS.
3) I think you will normally C: for Vista (check anyway). The XP partition will be D: with Vista.
