My dear friend Dreamlinux doesn't have a Firewall enabled as default. It may be the case that your P2P ports have been firewalled by ISP, or you need to configure your router.

    Re: Disabling firewall in DreamLinux

To my updated knowledge Dreamlinux hasn't got a Firewall.

With regards to the torrent you used to upgrade DreamLinux I use Ktorrent and Deluge both and only have to add my usual forwarded ports from my router.

Have you got a static IP address or dynamic? Because if you forward the torrent ports to your computers IP address, it will change everytime you start the network with dhcp (dynamic).

If you use your port forwarding properly then you wont have any hassels with torrent, servers, etc
