Screen freezes during game play

My problem is that when I play, for some time, video games; my screen freezes with small square around the screen and I'm forced to reboot. After some research on the net I updated my graphics card driver, flashed my bios, tested my ram with memtest, checked the temperatures of component (RAS).

I do not know what to do.

For info my config:

CPU: Intel Dual Core E8600 3.33GHz
2gb ram Corsair
ATI Radeon HD 4870
Motherboard: ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe

If someone have a solution then please help me.

Have you overclocked any of your config? If yes then drop them to their defaults. Otherwise try with your Processor probably at its stock.

No, I have not overclocked any of my config. All are at their defaults. And what do you mean by stock Processor?

What about the temperatures of your gpu in full, just record it using 3DMark and put it over here.

Stock means "default". Also is this happening to you with all your games? And only with your games or also with other software's or when your pc is ideal (in rest) ?

My graphics card goes up to 72 °C.

This problem only occurs with games. When I do other work on MS office, no problem.

Then it certainly seems to be the graphics card problem. Your graphics card might not be supporting the games requirements.
