Hi... I have an Intel Q6600 Quad Core 2.4 GHz CPU, but in my side bar, the Multicore Graph shows always Core #1 working. The other 3's are not #2-#4. I have read foe XP the ACPI Multiprocessor, but nothing for Vista. My PC is slower than an older Centrino Laptop that I have... I'm running in an Intel DG965WH MB, Q6600 Quad 4 2.4 GHz, 6GB RAM, 2 SATA 400GB and surprisingly running a Vista Experience index of 2.3!!! Any help??? I have look around the web for a ACPI MULTIPROCESSOR DRIVER for download and nothing... Even the scroll of the mouse through the window is a pain you-know-where.... Please help!!!! |

| Re: Vista NO QUAD CORE option - Device Manager
Have you installed the chipset driver information that is given with your motherboard cd? Remember for Vista the driver may differ than Windows XP.
