Vista error message " The device "USB ADSL2 WAN Adapter" set for PPPoA is not available"

    Hello,

Each boot Vista, I have the following message which I don't know the meaning:

    Code:
The device "USB ADSL2 WAN Adapter" set for PPPoA is not available.
    What should I do?

    More information would be helpful

Among other things can you clarify
    Your ISP?
    What modem you use?
    Connection Type?

Apparently you have a problem with your modem that will not be available so it must check the connections!

    Hello,

    OS: Vista
    ISP: sify
    Modem: Livebox mini Thomson L
    Connection Type: Wired 8MB / s

I just made a manip that deletes the message and one that also was systematic

In Run -> msconfig -> System Configuration -> Startup tab:
    I unchecked:
    CSS-Corporate-HSS_Mini_Fl
    to the file:
    C: \ Program Files \ Orange HSS \ Session Manager \ Session Manager.exe

In fact as I said earlier, I had another message (not each):
    CSS-Corporate-HSS_Mini_Fl stopped working

That is the message that gave me the idea to check whether something similar would not be in this list of startup. It seems that this session Manager.exe Orange that is the culprit. Why?

Well sure, I now have another message:

Windows has blocked some startup programs ...

But this one, there must be a way to get rid of it.

I'll send an email to Orange to report it.

And you, what do you think?

    I find it necessary to
    • click on the icon as requested
    • and select Run blocked program and then System Configuration Utility
    • and check the box Do not show this message
    • or launch the System Configuration tool when Windows starts and click OK
