    Operating System cannot be installed

You see, at work I have a Pentium computer with 130m of Ram and 8.5G hard drive (no comment). I had Windows 2000 but since they do not have the CD I have to settle to Windows 98 SE.
When I have to install and I have to continue, I am told that there is not enough disk space. I have gone to fdisk I saw that I had assigned to C: 8M and the rest was NTFS.
I've formatted the hard disc, I have eliminated the active partition and I have re-created it. Then when I put "install" I left all the time in "Setup". Not even just a sentence.

So can anyone help me out with this? Thanks

re: Operating System cannot be installed

It tries to verify that the disk was not corrupted, try another. And also try to test a low-level formatting (if you are not well known), ie, not fast but slow.
