    Reboot Windows XP after repair

    Hello everyone
Let me explain my problem from the beginning: that all began when I do an analysis of virus avast, he found a Trojan in the svchost.exe which he then deleted (I was not in front of my computer time of the analysis). Since this file supports almost all processes of windows so I fix it.

I'm already going into the console with cd windows for a repair manual entering these lines: chkdsk / r and fixboot. That has not changed and I spent automated repair included with the CD, all goes well it resets windows (installation of 30 minutes with the devices etc.) and then when loading windows (after reboot ) It restarts! There is not even the start screen reboot the PC that already ....
Here I have a bit of computer skills but now I'm dry!

    please help

You've done a chkdsk and fixboot but have you returned the file svchost.exe?

    If not then:
    You should have another here:
    C: \ WINDOWS \ ServicePackFiles \ i386
    c:\windows\system32 Via copy the console in c: \ windows \ system32

We must get it from another PC (it dates from April 2008) and approximately 14ko

    It can also be:
    C: \ WINDOWS \ $ NtServicePackUninstall $
    or
    c:\I386

ok, I put a svchost.exe in my USB key, the problem is that it does not detect the directory / system32.
When I type this command line, copy D: / svchost.exe C: / windows it makes me that the file has been pasted but as soon as I add / system32 I met that no has not found the system32! I understand nothing at all that ..... I think I have to reinstall my 350 GB of data (for a file 14kb ....

    What can I do?

Normally after a boot via the console you fall in the c: \ windows.
    If you type:
    cd system32 then entry.
    get yourself in the c: \ windows \ system32 ?

If it does not is that altogether your system32 directory that has disappeared, but I am surprised many.
the syntax of the copy is made with backslash \ and not slash (UNIX)
