| Boot problems after installing Linux
Hello everyone! Today I updated from Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10. Any installation goes well, I have Linux on a hard drive, and Windows XP on another. Now I have a startup issue, I see it the message: "No active Any key to reboot ".......... Here I press the space bar and it starts GRUB so I choose between Linux and Linux .... It is not Windows. According to some research may be that my Windows partition is not activated in this case ... as to enable it? And if that is not the problem, someone has an idea of a solution? Thank you in advance! |

It will require that you pass by Ubuntu and you taste the joys of command lines. But I can not help you more than that, my level is still at Ubuntu advanced beginner, but I can only wish you good luck |
