Vista, which one to choose ?

    Hello everyone!

I just bought my PC (E8400, 2 GB of DDR2 6400, and HD 4850) and now I would like to buy an Operating System.

My question is, which one to choose ?

It seems to me that Vista made progress thanks to SP1, but is it stable?

    What about Windows Vista Ultimate?

As I will mainly indulge video games, is the fact that installing XP will not help soak up these games (no DX10!)?

I await your brief comments on the OS you like or avoid.

thank you all for your responses.

    Hi

For Mr everyone the Home Premium enough, yes SP1 since its much better.

DirectX 10 if I believe is not much use (it seems)

Vista has always been stable ... even before SP1. The latter rightly worries some worst performance.
Vista Home Premium. Vista Ultimate: drop it does nothing to relieve your share portfolio unnecessarily -Vista Home Premium.
