Problem of security settings, unable to access my documents

I wanted to prevent anyone to access my partition G which is the My Documents folder. I visited the property of G and then click the Security tab and I unchecked settings (I can not remember which). Now I no longer have access to my G where are all my things (financial data files, photos, video etc).

I tried to correct the situation in the settings tab SAFETY and nothing works. I always have the following message: "Unable to save the changes authorization on the local disk - Access Denied". When I click the Security tab G disc, I get the following message: "You do not have permissions to view the authorization for Local Disk G, but you can change these permissions. I click OK and the next there is a box called "User names and group, but there is no name in the list. I try adding all the names but I found none functions.

    Specs:

    Windows XP SP3
    Motherboard Asus P4P800 Deluxe
Intel Pentium 2.4 GHz 800 FSB HT
    RAM: 1 GB DDR 400
Video card: PowerColor Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB
Hard Drive Western Digital 40 GB SATA Western Digital + 160 GB

Re: Problem of security settings, unable to access my documents

Have tried restoring Windows but it does not. I would like to clarify here that the damage is already done. I returned to the stage where I need a real solution to access my G drive (My Documents). Does anyone really provide little help?

"Access is Denied" error message when you try to open a folder:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/810881/en-us

The above one would work if not try downloading SUBNACL.exe from microsoft.com http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Running this will give full admin access to any file/folder
