Vista takes very long time during startup

I have a laptop Acer Aspire: 5020, purchase few days back, my problem is that windows takes long time for boot.

Once the desktop appears, it should be 2:3 min before the PC is usable and that everything is run, it's really slow.

There must be some thing because of which launch for nothing and it should not be very optimized. So I often paused to avoid prolonged suffering its slowness.

What you have anti-virus?

Run msconfig.exe to verify the service and remove unwanted programs that engage the boot.

Delete the unwanted programs and run disk defragmentation.

Indeed, it is very slow.

Do a bios default in the comp. If the OS was installed in the factory then they might have turned off some options like multi GPU and stuff to avoid problems during the OS installation.. Also check for any additional utility software's CPU usage in the comp and remove the program from starting up
