Windows Genuine Advantage Problem

Hello, I am on Windows XP Pro and recently I got an Windows Genuine Advantage message appearing above my quick icons after an automatic update from microsoft. I have bought the original cd from my computer vendor so how is it possible that I am getting this no genuine copy message? Could it be that my windows version is not original or have I been looted?

Well the copy of your windows xp is not original, so you have to buy license key from microsoft or get an original cd for working out. Sorry
