Vista forgets second hard drive settings!

    Hi all
I am using windwos vista receintly i have install a second hard drive on it.
I just formatted and partitioned it using Disk Management utility.I made two partition on it one of FAT32 name as G drive and second of NTFS as F drive.
The problem is most often the G drive is not remembered at start-up (intermittently) In computr Management it sometimes listed or sometimes not.
I have reformatted this G drive many times. Any suggestions why this happening? Is my hard drive is dieing?

    Hi aftab1

Have you try by changing cable it may be bcecause of loose connections. If you have do so then try by assignng a different drive letter and check the drive disk fragmentation.

Since you are facing this problem intermittently then it can be because of your hard drive is dieing. If it is in warranty period then take the advantage of it.
