Access is Denied - No security tab

I looked around and saw similar problems with no answers or with different situations. I'll try to provide as much information as I can.

I have 4 HDDs. The drive in question is my F: drive. My F: drive is where I store older files and where I backup my C: drive to when I need to format it. About 6 months ago or so I formatted my C: drive and after reinstalling Windows XP Professional SP2, I can only access about 4 of the 7 folders on the /root of the drive. 3 of the folders when I click on them pop up saying "F:\MyFolder is not accessible. Access is denied."

I've found other fixes that I've even used before, but don't work in this situation. When I right-click and choose properties, there is no 'security' tab available. So i'm at a complete loss as to how to access the folders. It's very important to me now because and old client is involved in a lawsuit and I have some files than can help out in their case. Any help is truly appreciated!

Try right clicking on the drive icon and 'EXPLORE' and you should be able to get Access by that .
