How to install Vista on virtual pc

Hello everyone.
I have Vista in full OEM version.
To test my programming I wanted to install on my PC, containing already OEM Vista, the virtual PC software and Vista. Could you tell me if this is possible also may have Blocked because it is an OEM version. Is it necessary that I contact Microsoft directly to seek their opinion and if so what is the phone number to contact them. Thank you in advance for your help.

Installing Vista on Virtual PC

Make sure you have a good computer (3 GHz or higher & 2 GB of RAM or higher)
Download and install Virtual PC
Download Vista beta ISO image
Download and run Virtual CD Control Panel

Create a new virtual machine and specify "Other" for the operating system
Specify at least 1 GB of RAM for the virtual machine
Create a new Virtual Hard Disk
Run the virtual machine

Windows Vista will install on Virtual PC 2004. However, it seems to be pretty much unuseable, as it just seems to lock the CPU useage at 100%. If anyone has found differently, or knows a solution to that I'd be very interested to hear it.

If anyone wants to try it for themselves, you need to boot up the virtual machine with a Win98 or ME Startup floppy first and Fdisk the virtual drive (there is no need to format it). Vista cannot be installed otherwise.

Allow a good couple of hours for the install. And after it's done, you'll only get 800 x 600 resoultion with 4-bit colour until the Virtual Machine Additions are installed (from the Action menu).
