Power off in Vista PC will not shut completely

When I close down the Vista with "Shut Down" button, it close the PC down in 1 sec and then start up again. My overclocking is stable enough - and it does make it even without overclock.

I have tested with 2 different kinds of RAM, so it is not that problem. I believe the problem arose after I switched from 4870x2 to GTX260. Sits with a 1Kwh TT TOUGH Power PSU so do not think it is.

My Vista has suffered a lot. Someone who has experienced this with their PC ever?

Do not believe it has something to do with GFX.

That can be a software error. It sounds something, from other side that you can now have a little wear vista install .

As far as I know you did not install a new motherboard when you switched from Tpower to that ... I think the fault can be found.

I did a clean install 1 month ago precisely with this P5Q part. When I had problems with 4870x2 - it was not but yes - I should probably put vista in again - because it takes a long time - and to get up and running again, programs, etc., you can just take a little at a time.

PS. It has made it 2 times now to start up again after poweroff - so I try to look at it tonight.

My motherboard did it because it did not have enough power. But it sounds strange with the PSU, but if you have another course, you could test it. Just to be safe.
