I need the autolock NOT to come on as soon as it does. I would like to lengthen the idle time to 15 minutes before it locks.

Hi,

This can also be done in start - Run - Gpedit.msc - adminitrative template and you search for it over there I think..Unfortunately i'm using Vista if not could have pointed the exact location to you.
