    ohmy Vista install problem - help!

    I have just taken delivery of a brand new PC. But cannot install the OS (Vista Ultimate 64-bit) as after the screen reports 'BOOTMGR is missing'.
    Most online advice is aimed at existing Vista users who are told to boot from their Vista disk to repair things. Well, I am trying to boot from the Vista disk simply to install things! In Bios I have made the Cd the first bootable device. Any suggestions?! I'll call the supplier in the morning but if its a simple fix I'd like to try right now! Thanks for reading.
