    Paging consumption

    Hi everybody.

I have 2GB of RAM in my machine and when I play high graphic games, for example and when I go into the Windows Task Manager while the game is running, I can see that there is a paging Forburg at 1.29GB.

My question is whether it is normal when you play a demanding game like Crysis, or whether we can do something or other about it so it will be better!

I didn't understand what you want to know. Are you concerned about the page files or about gaming? What happened?

My question was that is it normal with such a large paging consumption while playing such games. Its particularly about paging and not gaming.

It should only use the page file if you are already using all your RAM. It is clearly preferable to use that aptly instead, since they are much faster than HD.

Ah okay then. How do I go about it. Has already exhausted framework and take the paging consumption or whether it goes directly to the paging consumption?
It is very often that you can hear the hard drive works wonderfully well.

You can indeed see if your RAM consumption is higher than the number of RAM you have in the machine and a consumption of 1.3 GB is normal in the game.

My best offer would be to buy more RAM, or ensure you do not run other programs while you are playing great RAM hungry games.
