    What is "Verifying DMI pool data" screen ?

    Hi friends, my computer boots fine, but when i start my computer there is a black screen that comes after the post screen that says" verifying DMI pool data, with a lot of information above it. It lasts for 8 seconds, then it continues to boot normally. Can anyone tell me what this DMI ?, and ifsthere a way to disable it to speed up my boot time ?

    Reset the BIOS settings to their defaults,this will almost definitely prevent the message from being displayed.

    DMI is the Desktop Management Interface. When the bios is verifying the pool data its just a table of data it is sending to the operating system.
