    Swearing in the Linux code

On the Web we can find a couple of graphs updated monthly that counted the number of "swear words" found in each version of the Linux kernel code.

It is curious to see how the charts as the number of posts increased considerably close to the version 2.4.

On the web links you can even download the script that generates graphics, if you are interested.

Actually I think it is the 2.6.23.1 of October 2007, so it takes a while without updating, but it remains something nice.

I'm in my code, and sometimes introduce some "palletes" but I never would have happened to any of the code in the Linux kernel ... would be interesting to look at other open source applications.
