Can any one tell me the procedure How to upgrade from Windows vista home basic (800 MHz, 512MB, 40 GB)to Windows Vista Business edition.Is it possible to do?

There is no direct upgrade path from Vista Home to Vista Business - you would have to do a clean install.

Do you have Genuine CD key of Windows? If yes than you can do that. The only thing you needed is Windows Vista Business CD to install.
