Let me guess it has to be a driver problem.
Still i want to ask if you have any additional sound card card or just onboard sound card?

NO i dont have any additional sound card on my motherboard its just the onboard sound card, & i have tried installing audio driver for vista from AC'97 Realtek Vista drivers. Still no success. My onboard sound is SoundMAX.

Ok there you are see you have SoundMax as your onboard sound & you are installing Realtec audio driver so how will it work?
You need to install driver you got with your motherboard CD.
